- Experience as prime contractor in the construction of at least two of works of a nature and complexity equivalent to the Works over the period five years.
-The essential equipment to be made available for contravt by the successful bidder shall be: Excavator, Welding machine, Crane for steel erection and Compactor
-The minimum amount of liquid assets and/or credit facilities net of other contractual commitments of the successful Bidder shall be USD 300,000. The Bidder should Provide Original letter from Independent Auditor Certifying the above.
A margin of preference for eligible national contractors/joint ventures shall not be applied.

Construction of the (CMWU) Central Warehouse
W/ICB 1/2007

1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in the Development Business printed edition No (665) on 31, October, 2005, posted online on October 12th, 2005.
2. The Palestine Liberation Organization for the benefit of the Palestinian Authority has received Grant from the International Development Association (IDA), toward the cost of Gaza Emergency Water Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Grant to payments under the Contract for Construction of the (CMWU) Central Warehouse, W/ICB 1/2007.
3. InfraMan (the Operator) acting on behalf of the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility (CMWU) now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Construction of the (CMWU) Central Warehouse. The delivery/construction period is 180 days.

4. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, 2004 addition, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Documents.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from InfraMan Gaza, Mr. Ramy Abdu, and E-mail: info@inframan-gaza.com, and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 08:00 to 16:00 hours.
6. Qualifications requirements include:

7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of one hundred US$ (100) or equivalent. The method of payment will be check against receipt of voucher. The Bidding Documents will be sent by airmail for overseas delivery and by courier or through the supplier’s representative for local delivery.
8. The pre-bid meeting will be held at 10.00 mornings 05, July 2007 at InfraMan office as mentioned in the address below.
9. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 12 noon, 15, July 2007. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened physically in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at the address below at 12 noon, 15, July 2007.
10 All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of USD 15,000 or an equal amount in freely convertible currency.
