7. Contract description: Within the 'Support to regulatory reform and
privatisation in infrastructure' (SRRP programme), the objectives of this
project will be:
— to raise the profile of the work of the Regulatory Commissions among
their stakeholder groups through a programme of dissemination via the
press, web sites and conferences,
— to educate the wider body of target stakeholder groups (outside the
Regulatory Commissions) including infrastructure sector Ministries,
parliamentary committees, legislators, the judiciary, educators, consumer
organisations,
— to raise awareness of the role that the European Community is playing in
assisting with regulatory reform and its importance in harmonising with
European standards.
