Note: Hiring International Consultants under the Scheme Establishment of Buffalo Research Institute Pattoki District Kasur.

Buffalo Research Institute, Pattoki is the principal organization mandated for the development of Buffalo through research-based applications in al areas of its Reproduction and Production.
Proposal are invited for hiring individual International Consultants in the following areas: -
(i) International Consultants in the area of Embryo Transfer (ET)
Targeted Duration: Up to 4 Months
Required Qualification & Experience: Msc/ MS with 10 years experience or PhD with 7 years experience in the field of Reproduction Physiology/ Reproduction Biology with proficiency in MOET, IVM, IVF with knowledge of English as a means of communication.
(ii) International Consultants in the area of Animal Reproduction (Semen Preservation).
Targeted Duration: Up to 4 Months
Required Qualification & Experience: MSc/ MS with 10 years experience or PhD with 7 years experience in the field of Reproduction Physiology/ Reproduction Biology etc. with knowledge of English as a means of communication.
(iii) International Consultants in the area of Animal Nutrition (Buffalo Meat Production).
Targeted Duration: Up to 2 Months
Required Qualification & Experience: MSc/ MS with 10 years experience or PhD with 7 years experience in the field of Animal Nutrition/ Beef Production etc. with knowledge of English as a means of communication.
(iv) International Consultants in the area of Molecular Genetics (Genetic Characterization).
Targeted Duration: Up to 4 Months
Required Qualification & Experience: MSc/ MS with 10 years experience or PhD with 7 years experience in the field of Molecular Genetics, Bio-Technology etc. with knowledge of English as a means of communication.
Mode of Payment: Payment to be paid, schedule of payment and payment procedures shall be agreed upon negotiations
Interested individuals are requested to submit their Curriculum Vita along with fee to be charged for the services in separate sealed envelopes. The proposals must reach the office of the Secretary, Government of the Punjab, Livestock and Dairy Development Department, Old P&D Building, 2 Bank Road, Lahore by January 31st 2008. The individual’s CVs should include details on similar services carried out on projects within the past 10 years.
Individuals are also required to enroll themselves on the Consultant Enrollment System (CES) accessible from the Government of the Punjab, Planning and Development Department website (http://www.pndpunjab.gov.pk). Only consultants who provide complete details on the CES will be considered for the award. Terms of References (TORs) for the given assignments are also available on the CES.
