Shaking Table System and high Performance Excitation and high Speed data Analysis

1. This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in Development Business; issue no No. 617 Vol.26 of 31st.Oct.2003.

2. The Islamic Republic of Iran has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) toward the cost of Earthquake Emergency Recovery Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for submission of proposal of Technical Specifications of Shaking Table System and high Performance Excitation and high Speed data Analysis.

3. Ministry of Interior on behalf of Amir Kabir University now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for submission of proposal of Technical Specifications of Shaking Table System and high Performance Excitation and high Speed data Analysis.

4. Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines. In this respect, based on the declared policy of Iran, Israel is considered as ineligible source for supply of goods and services in this bid.

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the the project management unit (PMU) and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at office timing: 0830 to 1630 hours from Saturday to Wednesday.

6. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address mentioned below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 200,000 (two hundred thousand) Iranian Rials credited to our account specified below or it’s equivalent in a fully convertible currency in the form of cashier’s check. The document will be sent by courier.
