(1) Sealed Tenders are invited from individual firms who held valid customs clearance and forwarding license and pre-qualified as cargo handling agent by Directorate General of Food Karachi for Clearance and Handling of Commodities Received at Port Qasim / Karachi Port under world food programme and other donor agencies for a period of one year ending 30.06.2009.
(2) Tender forms giving full details can be obtained from Directorate General of Food, Government of Pakistan, Block No. 66, Pak-Sectt., Karachi on Cash Payment of Rs.1000/- (Non-Refundable) Per Set up to 05.07-2008.
(3) Pay Order Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) only from a scheduled bank as earnest money must be submitted with the tender form.
(4) Tender will be opened in the office of the Directorate General of Food, Karachi at 1230 Hours on 07.07.2008, in the presence of such tenderers who are present.
(5) Bids should be valid for 30 (thirty) days.
(6) Director General (Food) reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason.
(7) List of pre-qualified firms is enclosed herewith.
