The Government of Sindh has launched a major initiative, titled "Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Program”, for addressing the issues of poverty and unemployment through human resource development in the province.
The Program aims to provide opportunities for short-term employment and skill development to approximately 100.000 semi-literate and educated unemployed youth in Sindh for a period varying between 3 months to one year. The unemployed youth will be offered various skill development opportunities and job oriented certification courses to adapt to local and international job markets. This will help contain poverty and improve the socio-economic conditions of common citizens. In addition, the public and private sector business efficiency will increase through a well-placed, developed and skilled workforce.
The Provincial Coordination Unit (PCU), BBSYDP, P&D Department, Government of Sindh, invites sealed quotations from eligible firms / individuals for the following services to be delivered at Provincial Coordination Unit:
The offers should reach the following address by 31.07.2008 in sealed envelopes till 11:00 a.m. and will be opened at 11 30 a.m. on the same day.
The Provincial Coordination Unit, BBSYDP P&D Department has the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason. Provincial Coordination Unit, BBSYDP P&D Department also reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of items contained in individual packages.
Price quoted shall include all applicable taxes, duties and cover installation of the equipment at various locations as indicated or as advised otherwise.
