Sealed tenders are invited for the Supply of Stationery and Miscellaneous items Hiring of Public Address System, Conference System, Audio Distribution System for Electronic Media, Car Calling System, Hiring of Coaches, Cars and Vans, Printing Work, Computer Items, Floral Arrangements and Organization of a Cultural Show, Back Drop, Streamers, Hiring of Chairs and Tents in Connections with 3rd Regional Economic Corporation Conference on Afghanistan Schedule to be held on 26-27 August 2008. The prospective vendors are required to include the sales tax in their quoted price. The tender should reach the undersigned latest by 30-07-2008 at 11.00 am. List of items can be obtained from Room No 2, Block “C” Pak Secretariat during hours or from EAD’s website i.e. www.ead.gov.pk. Tenders will be opened on 30-07-2008 at 11.30 am in presence of the bidders or their representatives.
Sealed tender along with 5% Earnest Money through bank draft/pay order as call deposit in favour of Section Officer (General) Economic Affairs Division should reach the undersigned latest by 30-07-2008.
Terms and conditions: The firm should well established and located in Islamabad/Rawalpindi having its own ware house and telephone facility.
Firm should be registered with the Collectorate of General Sales Tax and income tax.
Rates of the tenders must be inclusive of all taxes.
Firm shall be required to produce attested copies of its registration with the sales tax and income tax departments.
In case of firm is found to be of misstatement, or provision of refilled items particularly the toners; or delayed supply of items, or failed to provide the items of the prescribed standard, or refuse to supply any items before or during the Conference, the tender shall be cancelled without any notice and the earnest money forfeited.
Firm shall be required to provide the samples of the items before the Tender purchase/Award Committee.
In complete tenders shall not be given any consideration.
The price/rates should be given separately for each items.
Economic Affairs Division can reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal. EAD shall, upon request, communicate to any supplier or contractor who submitted a bid or proposal, the grounds for its rejection of all bid or proposals, but is not required to justify those grounds.
Competent authority shall, announce the results, of bid evaluation in the form of a report giving justification for acceptance or rejection of bids at least ten days prior to the award of procurement contract.
