1. The Government of the Republic of Yemen has received a credit from IDA towards the cost of Port Cities Development Program, and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for The construction of Selected Investments Projects in Aden, Rehabilitation of Al Tawahi Market Contract No. G2C2/2008.

2. The Port Cities Development Program invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Rehabilitation of Al Tawahi Market Contract No. G2C2/2008

For a nonrefundable fee of 100 US Dollars or their equivalent in a freely-convertible currency. Interested bidders may obtain further information at the same address.
4. Bid should be accompanied by copies of:
a) Total monetary value of construction work performed for each of the last five years;
b) experience in works of a similar nature and size (Building Construction and Rehabilitation) for each of the last five years, details of work under way or contractually committed; and clients who may be contacted for further information on those contracts;
c) qualifications and experience of key site management and technical personnel proposed for the Contract;
Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security of not less than USD 30,000 from recognized bank in Yemen and should be valid for 120 days.
