Sealed tenders are invited from the contractors / water suppliers for supply of drinking water about 70 tankers of 1000 gallon daily to various SBP Buildings in Karachi from K.W.S.B hydrant. Contractors are required to furnish the following information along with application for issuance of the tender documents.
Name, Address, Phone/ Fax Numbers of the firm.
Proof of registration as water supplier with KW&SB.
Minimum 05 No’s water bowsers / tankers of 5000 gallons should be registered in the name of the company or owner (Documentary proof required).
Name of organization whom drinking water is being supplied with documentary proof (Hare give the approximate quantity being supplied).
A fixed earnest money of Rs.100, 000/- (Rupees one hundred thousand only) be submitted along with the tender bid in the form of Pay order in faver of State Bank of Pakistan SBP BSC (Bank) Head office Karachi.
Successful contractor / supplier shall have to submit the Bank guarantee of Rs.200,000/- on prescribed form from any scheduled Bank.
The tender documents can be obtained at the cost of Rs.500/- (Non refundable) at Engineering Department (Maintenance Division), 1st floor Canteen Building, SBP BSC (Bank) Head office I.I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi up to 23-08-2008.
Conditional tenders and tenders without earnest money shall not be considered. This tender is only invitation and the Bank does not bind itself to accept any tender and reserved the rights to reject any or all tenders. Further personal convincing or recommendations will also disqualify the bidders.
Tender should be dropped in the Sealed Tender Box kept with the P.A. to Director Engineering Department, State Bank of Pakistan, SBP BSC (Bank), 1st floor Boulton Market Building Karachi by 11:00-A.M on 25-08-2008. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 11: 30 A.M in the presence of the contractors/ tenderers who may like to be present.
