In pursuance of PPRA Rules 2004, sealed tenders are invited from all interested persons / parties / firms / suppliers / contractors/ companies / pre-qualified firms to participate on B-I/II forms for procurement of the following works.
(1) Blank tender forms and other documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned from 1st day of publication of tenders in newspapers up to 27.08.2008 during office hours on depositing required tender fee shown against each work.
(2) Tender will be received back on 28.08.2008 and will be opened on the same day at 3:00 p.m. in the presence of Tender Opening / Evaluation Committee & bidders or their authorized representatives, who wish to be present.
(3) If the tender remains un-responded on first attempt, the 2nd attempt of opening on 04.09.2008 & 3rd attempt of opening on 11.09.2008.
(4) Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant field of specialization of work & to the extent of tender amount of each work.
(i) Bio Data of Engineers & Technical staff working with the firm.
(ii) Documentary evidence of works executed / works in progress and certificate of satisfactory completion of works by the employers.
(iii) List of works in progress indicating cost of each work and copy of letter of award of work.
(iv) List of machinery and equipment available with documentary evidence of its ownership. Certificates of Bank showing credit worthiness along with Bank statement.
(5) Earnest money should be in shape of Call Deposit from any reputed Bank of Pakistan and the deposit amount in the name of District Officer Buildings, Badin. The earnest money will be forfeited to the Government, if the bidder modifies or withdraws his bid after opening or fails to tender the contract after the bid is accepted.
(6) Conditional tenders & tenders without accompaniment of earnest money shall not be considered.
(7) The competent authorities reserve all rights to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
(8) In case of works costing below Rs.2.500 (M), the conditions at S. No. 4 will not be applicable.
