(1) Worldwide tenders are invited for procurement of following material in accordance with the tender specifications: UIC-54 (or Equivalent) Rails = 16,000 M. Tons.
(2) The tender shall be submitted strictly in accordance with Instruction for the Guidance of Tenderers, IFGT-90 and shall be governed by P.R.S. Conditions of Contract A-3-90, copies of which are attached with the tender documents.
(3) Tender documents can be obtained from the office of Director Procurement, P.R. Carnage Factory, Admn. Building, Sector I-11, Islamabad from 15-08-2008 to 29-09-2008 during working hours on payment of Rs.5,000/- (non-refundable) through a Bank Draft/ Pay Order in the name of FA& CAO/M&S, P.R. Islamabad.
(4) Tenders addressed to the Director Procurement, must reach by 11:00 hours on or before 30-09-2008 in the office of Director Procurement, P.R. Carnage Factory, Admn. Building, Sector I-11, Islamabad. The Tenders will be opened publicly at 11:30 hours on the same day i.e. 30-09-2008 in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
