Note: Grant of License for “Books, Magazine and Newspaper Shops inside Domestic Departure Transit Area and Domestic Departure Satellite, Jinnah Terminal, JIAP Karachi.
Reserve price/ fee for the concession is Rs.175,000/- per month
Tender Fee: Rs.2,000/- (non-refundable).

(1) Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) invites tenders on two envelopes basis i.e. technical offer and financial offer for the concession of “Books, Magazine and Newspaper Shops” inside Domestic Departure Transit Area and Domestic Departure Satellite, Jinnah Terminal, Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) Karachi from registered Companies/ Firms with good reputation and sound financial background. Technical and financial offers will have 80% & 20% weight-age respectively.
(2) The reserve price/ fee for the concession is Rs.175,000/- per month. The concession shall be awarded for the period of (03) years with 12.5% and 15% cumulative annual enhancement during 2nd & 3rd years of the license agreement respectively. No offer less than the Reserve price shall be entertained.
(3) Defaulters of CAA dues are not eligible to apply. Late, ambiguous and/ or conditional tenders shall not be entertained.
(4) Tender forms along with some instructions and terms & conditions can be obtained from the office of the Senior Manager Commercial at Level-III (Room No. 3053-B), Jinnah Terminal, JIAP Karachi between 0900 hours to 1500 hours during working days on payment of Rs.2,000/- (non-refundable). Tenders should be dropped in the tender box on or before 27th August, 2008 in the Conference Room (Room # 6035) at Level-VI Jinnah Terminal JIAP Karachi. Tender box shall be sealed and Technical Offer will be opened at 1230 hours in the presence of the bidders wishing to be present.

(6) CAA reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason and without being liable for any claim/ compensation of any nature whatsoever. Decision of CAA shall be final and shall not be challenged.
