Sealed Bids are invited from well-established and experienced Clearing & Forwarding Agents for handling, clearing and forwarding of POL products for export to Afghanistan through Chaman/Torkham Border, on per litre basis: (A) For Chaman Border: Per litre charges for clearing of tank lorries through Chaman Border / Custom Export Station Chaman. The charges must include all clearing / forwarding & other charges including but not limited to all taxes and fees etc., incurred to clear the tank lorries.
(B) For Torkhum Border: Per litre charges for clearing of tank lorries through Torkhum Border / Custom Export Station Torkhum. The charges must include all clearing/ forwarding & other charges including but not limited to all taxes and fees etc., incurred to clear the tank lorries.
Agent must provide following documents with the quotation.
(1) Copy of valid export license (Form B) duly attested by custom authorities.
(2) Document showing experience of company working / registration with the customs department.
(3) Complete detail on letter head such as Telephone / Mobile No., Fax No, e-mail address etc.
(4) NIC copy of clearing agent & copy of last income tax return submitted.
(5) Clearing Agent should have experience of clearance of goods of International Companies or Export of POL products for Oil Marketing Companies to Afghanistan supported by documentary proof.
(6) The rates should be per litre charges including but not limited to all government / local taxes, fees, cesses, duties and or any other charges whatsoever for the purpose of export.
Quotations on letterhead should be submitted along with the above-mentioned documents and a Demand Draft / Pay Order of Rs.200,000/-, in favour of Pakistan State Oil Company Limited on or before 1:00 P.M. on 26TH August 2008 in sealed envelopes marked as
“Sealed Tender for Clearing & Forwarding Services at Chaman/Torkham Border”
Sealed bids must be deposited in the tender box # 2 marked “Procurement” placed at 2nd Floor, Procurement & Services Department, PSO House, Khayaban-e-Iqbal, Clifton, Karachi or sent through courier service to reach at this address before the due date and time given above.
Tenders shall be opened in the presence of bidders authorized representatives on 26th August 2008 at 03:00 P.M. in the Tender Room, Ground Floor, PSO House, Clifton, Karachi.
Note: Bids of only those parties, which meet PSO requirements will be entertained
Information given, if found to be incomplete/false at any stage, will result in immediate rejection/ disqualification
PSO may ask for any further information & details, if required, and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to cancel this tender for any reason whatsoever in its sole discretion.
Quotations received without a Demand Draft / Pay Order of Rs.200,000/- in favour of Pakistan State Oil Company Limited shall be rejected.
