1. The Government of the Republic of Yemen has received a credit from IDA towards the cost of Port Cities Development Program, and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for The construction of Small-Scale Infrastructure Investments in Aden:
- Contract No. (G2C3/2007), Improvement of Kod Al Nimr Contract. Works main activities: Pavements, Beach Furniture, Plantation
- Contract No. (G2C6/2007), Improvement of Gold Mohr Contract. Works main activities: Pavements, Beach Furniture, Plantation

2. The Port Cities Development Program invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following contracts:
- Contract No. (G2C3/2008), Improvement of Kod Al Nimr Beach
- Contract No. (G2C6/2008), Improvement of Gold Mohr Beach
3. Bidding documents in English (and additional copies) may be purchased at:

for a nonrefundable fee of 130 US Dollars for each of the Bidding document mentioned above or their equivalent in a freely-convertible currency. Interested bidders may obtain further information at the same address.
4. Bid should be accompanied by copies of:
a) total monetary value of construction work performed for each of the last five years;
b) experience in works of a similar nature and size (Roads and Beaches Development) for each of the last five years, and details of work under way or contractually committed; and clients who may be contacted for further information on those contracts;
c) qualifications and experience of key site management and technical personnel proposed for the Contract;
Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security of not less USD 22,000 per each Bid from recognized bank in Yemen and should be valid for 120 days.
