Sealed Tenders are invited from Manufacturers / Authorized Distributors for the supply of following items:
All tenders are to be quoted separately as outlined above and will open on “Single Stage Two Envelope Basis”. All bidders must submit two sealed envelopes containing headings "Technical Proposal" & "Financial Proposal" on tender opening date. Technical Proposal envelope will be opened on tender opening date, whereas Financial Proposal will remain sealed till the evaluation of Technical Proposals of all bidders by PIA. The Financial Proposals of only those bidders whose Technical Proposal was accepted will be opened later Successful bidders will be informed regarding the opening date of Financial Proposal. Each Financial Proposal must attach (Interest Free) 2% Earnest Money of the total bid value (Refundable).
Tender Documents with Terms and Conditions can be obtained from Finance Manager, Procurement Logistics and Food Department, 2nd Floor, Procurement and Logistics Building, Karachi Airport on written request against cash payment of Rs.500.00 (non-refundable) on all working days between 0900 hrs. to 1230 hrs. and 1430 hrs. to 1630 hrs. Tender documents will not be sold on tender opening date. Tender will be opened on 15th September, 2008 at 1100 hrs.
Sealed Quotation addressed to General Manager, Procurement Technical, Procurement Logistics & Food Department shall be couriered or dropped in the tender box marked Technical Purchases (Commercial) placed at the entrance of Procurement and Logistics Building, Karachi Airport, Karachi according to the tender opening date mentioned above. Tenders will be opened on the same day at 1100 hrs. in the presence of any or all tenderers. PIA will not be responsible for any postal or courier delay.
PIA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal. If requested, PIA can provide any supplier or contractor the grounds for its rejection of its bids or proposal, but is not required to justify those grounds.
