Dow University of Health Sciences intends to auction of unserviceable equipments office items, old buses and furniture and fixture, Laboratory equipment, electric item, sanitary items, scrap, auto parts and other on lot basis on as is where is basis.
Sealed bids are invited from the interested parties with following terms and conditions.
Terms and Conditions: (1) Auction/ Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the Director Planning & Development Dow University of Hearth Sciences Karachi on payment of tender fee Rs.500 each up to 15-10-2008.
(2) Interested parties may examine the said unserviceable store items on any working day between 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on above mentioned address up to 20-10-2008.
(3) The genuine bids/ offers for each lot be submitted separately along with the pay order of 2% of the bid value in the name of the Project Director, DUHS in sealed envelope and should reach or be dropped in the box placed in the office of undersigned till 11.30 a.m. by 30-10-2008. The offer received without above mentioned pay order and after above mentioned date and time shall not be accepted/ entertained.
(4) The bid shall be opened in the office of the undersigned in the presence of bidders at 12.30 p.m. on the same date i.e. 30-10-2008.
(5) The successful bidder shall also be liable to pay with holding tax etc in addition to bid amount.
(6) The store shall be handed over to successful bidder after approval of competent authority and on receipt of complete payment.
(7) Competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers without assigning any reason whatsoever, Authority also reserve the right to negotiate with 3 highest bidders or all bidders to get the good price of store.
(8) Successful and approved bidders should submit 1/4th of bid amount on same occasion and remaining amount should be submitted within 07 days after order. If full amount is not deposited in 07 Days the 2% of bid value will be forfeited.
(9) Successful bidder will lift all material within 15 days and he is also liable to clean the ground where material is placed.
(10) University employees or their relatives are not eligible to participate in the bid.
