Karachi Port Trust intends to demolish the existing Jetty at Boat Basin, Keamari and reconstruct the same by shifting it further back to facilitate the users. In addition Jetties at Baba & Bhitt Island are also to be Reconstructed/ rehabilitated.
Experienced Local/ International consulting firms/ consortia with related experience may obtain Post Qualification and Technical and Financial documents for detailed supervision from the office of the undersigned on any working day. The application may be enclosed with Pay Order amounting to Rs.5,000/= (non-refundable) in the name of Chief Accounts Office, KPT.
Two-envelope tender return system will be adopted.
One envelope containing information regarding post qualification shall be clearly marked “Post Qualification Information”. The second envelope will contain two separate envelopes each clearly marked “Technical Proposal” and “Financial Proposal”. Technical Proposal of only Post-Qualified bidders will be opened and evaluated. Financial Proposals will be opened publicly of only Technically Qualified bidders on date to be announced later.
The last date of submission of proposals/ documents is 27th October, 2008.
The Karachi Port Trust reserves the right to reject any or all the applications/ proposals without assigning any reason(s) thereof.
