Note: Establishment and Running of Duty Free Shops at Peshawar International Airport.

(1) Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) invites tenders on two envelopes basis i.e. Technical Offer and Financial Offer for the concession of “Running of Duty Free Shops (One each in International Arrival Lounge & International Departure Lounge) at Peshawar International Airport” from registered companies/ firms who have valid license to run Duty Free Shop from CBR/ Collectorate of Custom, Peshawar with good reputation and sound financial background. Technical and financial offers will have 80% & 20% weight-age respectively.
(2) Reserve price/ fee for the concession is $ 8000/- per annum. In addition to the license fee the successful bidder shall also pay Gross Turn over, prescribed space & utility charges as per CAA policy.
(3) The concession shall be awarded for a period of Five Years with 12.5% & 15%, 17.5% & 20% annual cumulative enhancement during subsequent years.
(4) Defaulters of CAA dues are not eligible to apply. Late, ambiguous and/ or conditional tenders shall not be entertained.
(5) Tender forms along with some instructions and terms & conditions can be obtained from the office of the Airport Manager Peshawar Airport between 0900 hours to 1400 hours on working days (except Friday when the timings are 0900 to 1200 hours) on payment of Rs.2,000/- (non-refundable). Tenders should be dropped in the tender box till 1200 hours on 15th October, 2008 in the office of Airport Manager Peshawar Airport. Tender box will be sealed at 1200 hours and tender will be opened on same day at 1230 hrs.

(7) CAA reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason and without being liable for any claim/ compensation of any nature whatsoever. Decision of CAA shall be final and shall not be challenged.
