Sealed tenders are invited from well-established firms duly registered with Sale Tax Authorities for supply of the following miscellaneous stationery/store items for Census 2008.
In addition, routine miscellaneous stationery/store items are also required during current financial year 2008-2009 for office use.
The list of above items along with terms and conditions can be obtained from office on any working day during office hours.
The tenders must reach the undersigned before 11.00 a.m on 27 October, 2008. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 11:30 a.m in the Committee Room of Population Census Organization, 69-E, Adeel Plaza, Blue Areas, Fazal-e-Haq Road, Islamabad in the presence of bidder.
Sample of each items must be attached of which the rate given.
3% Security deposit of the each items indicated will have to be deposited in favour of DDO, Population Census organization, Islamabad, which in case of unsuccessful tenders will be refunded.
The items will have to be delivered in the Population Census Organization, Hqs Office situated at 69-E, Adeel Plaza, Blue Area, and G-8 Markaz, Mandir Complex, with out any transportation charges on the part of Census Organization.
The lowest bidder will ensure the supply of the items during the whole financial year at the approved rates.
The competent authority will also have the right to cancel the contract partially or entirely during the currency of year, if items are found sub standard or short in quantity and also not supplied timely. The security amount will be forfeited and the firm will be black listed.
Sealed tenders complete in all respects may reach the Director (Admn), Population Census Organization, 69-E, Adeel Plaza, Blue Area, Islamabad up to 27-10-2008 at 11.00 AM which will be opened on same date at 11.30 hours in the presence of the tenderers\ representatives.
All the tenderers will clearly mention in their bids that the rates are including GST or not.
The Successful bidders will be bound to deliver the items on the receipt of supply order within 15 days. In case of failure, they will be black listed under the rules.
