The Government of Botswana will shortly issue the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST) Campus PPP Project. The release of the RFQ will be preceded by an Investors Conference held on 4 November 2008 in Gaborone, Botswana.

The Investors Conference is a full day event that will provide information to interested parties on the BIUST university project, with specific focus on the forthcoming tender for the Campus PPP. The project includes the design, finance, construction and operation / maintenance of the physical facilities for the BIUST Campus. The International Finance Corporation is the exclusive transaction advisor to Government for this PPP project.

The Investor Conference will feature detailed briefings on all aspects of the Campus Infrastructure PPP project. The conference agenda and general information may be found on project website at biustppp.org.

Closing date for conference registration is 29 October 2008. Registration may be completed by email or fax, sending the number, names and contact information for all participants from your firm to both Government and the IFC transaction team as follows:
